Studio manager Simba, runs Perfekt Photo. When our team is editing weddings and designing albums, Simba will be there to supervise (actually sitting on the computer). Nothing leaves the studio without his paw of approval. On shoot days, he assists in packing camera cases, checking equipment and making sure everything works properly. Simba relaxes by playing with his neighbor, Sakura the chihuahua. He also enjoys watching Family Guy, with an occasional snack of pistachio nuts.

Despite incredible projects shooting ad campaigns in Beverly Hills, to vivid magazine covers, David still prefers the emotion and thrill of shooting weddings. His fashion and editorial photography has been published in national ads and magazines. Clients include Germany's Next Top Model, Verizon Wireless, Coastal Living and Wine Spectator. Even with those accomplishments, he's quick to say, "Nothing compares to shooting a wedding. You only have one chance to get your perfect shot. It's that challenge... That's what I love about weddings."

His kryptonite? Reese's peanut butter cups. When not behind the camera, you can find him canoe paddling, running at Ala Moana beach park or enjoying the heat of Bikram yoga.

"The thing I like most about being a photographer is being able to live my dream" says Shannon. "My goal is to see love in every aspect and form around the world. With weddings, I not only get to photograph the love between the bride and groom, but the new relationships between family and friends. There's really nothing more special than that."

As a consummate professional, Shannon still brings a fun, fresh attitude to weddings. No boring pictures or poses - just a day filled with laughs and great photos.

A random note. Shannon is finishing her nursing degree. If the excitement of your day is too much to handle, she knows CPR!

Kari believes you only get to live life once. That's why taking photos is so important. To capture those "moments you'll never see again."

As our graphic artist, she's always busy designing wedding albums. "Albums are a happy challenge" says Kari. "They're all about telling stories... and a couples commitment to each other. I feel that's so important, that I sometimes spend too much time working on them."

Kari is a compulsive travel bug when not at work. You'll find her camping on Kahoʻolawe, shopping in Japan or dining on ostrich in New Orleans.
