Despite being a fall month, November is one of the best times of the year for a wedding in Hawaii. The temperature is starting to get a little cooler, but we haven’t started the winter rains yet.

Jacquie & Peter had an intimate wedding at Coconut Grove, with their reception following in the Regency Ballroom. Absolutely gorgeous! This was my first wedding at the Royal since the remodel, and I’m happy to say, the property looks fantastic. We were lucky enough to have set aside extra time for the bridal portraits. Nick & Yuni – Halekulani, Waikiki Beach. Yuni and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready in the 4,066 sq. ft Royal Suite. Newly renovated, the suite set the tone for the day with style, class and elegance. The late afternoon wedding ceremony was held in the garden courtyard, and we moved to the ballroom for cocktails and reception.

Halekulani remains one of my favorite locations for weddings.  Why? Yes, the property is picture perfect. But that’s not it.  The reason is the staff. From the minute our team walks onto property, the hotel’s staff (from the valet guys to the chefs) treat us like guests. Just imagine imagine how well they’ll take care of  you on your wedding day.
