Paiko Lagoon Private Estate

October 27th, 2010

Paiko Lagoon Private Estate wedding.

The wedding day for Erica & Edward was sunny, and actually… much, much warmer than usual.  It was one of the last hot weekends of summer.  Luckily, the marble floors and high beamed ceilings of the estate made for a cool retreat.  The property is almost it’s own private island, with Paiko Wildlife Sanctuary on one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other.

The theme, fresh with lime greens and blues was a blending of two cultures, Chinese and Guamanian.  A traditional tea ceremony started off the day’s events.  After the western ceremony, we moved to the covered lanai for a relaxing cocktail hour and dinner catered by Indigo.

Just when I thought I’d seen it all at weddings…  A surprise!  The groom’s cake was in the shape of a latte stone, the unofficial logo of Guam.  I’ve never seen a lumpy, gray wedding cake before.  But, by the ooh’s and aah’s from Edward’s relatives, it proved to be a big hit.

As the sun set, the property was lit by strings of lanterns and candles.  A truly cool and romantic setting for dancing the night away!

$1M Harry Winston photo shoot

August 14th, 2010

Our passion for fashion continues with a portfolio of Harry Winston jewelry, photographed at the Royal Hawaiian.  Our bride, Rachel, wore over $1M in diamonds and looked absolutely gorgeous in the King Kamehameha Suite.  Featured pieces were the 56 carat princess necklace and a pear shaped 2.3 carat ring.  Bouquets were provided by Sue Yamaguchi of Sue-V Expressions.  Styling by Tania de Jesus.  Beauty Case by Louis Vuitton.  And of course, jewelry by Harry Winston.

View the complete portfolio and the behind the scenes video of the shoot day.
